HEAD COACH
CHUCK ADAMS
2008 marks the 5th season Coach Adams has guided the Cats and is the only varsity coach in program history. Prior to Plymouth, Coach Adams spent a decade coaching at Ann Arbor Huron as the Freshman coach, J.V. coach and a Varsity assistant coach. He also spent a season as the Freshman coach at Canton high in 2003. He has worked as an instructor at University of Michigan’s summer and winter baseball camps.
Coach Adams played high school ball for three schools while growing up in Michigan, Indiana and Kentucky. After high school, Coach Adams served 4 years in the U.S. Navy as a Cryptologic Technician.
In 1995 he graduated from Eastern Michigan University with a degree in Physical Education. Also in 1995, Coach Adams began teaching P.E. for the Plymouth-Canton School District. In 2002 he received his Masters degree in Education from Central Michigan University.
Coach Adams is married to Kelli and has 3 boys; Aaron, Sean and Will. In his spare time, he enjoys hanging out with his sons, boating, fishing and college football Saturdays. As a coaching philosophy, Coach Adams believes you must play the game of baseball with passion, by staying positive and preparing yourself to excel. |
